About 5th EDO ART EXPO ?

banner The Edo Art Expo(9/28~10/16) is an exploration of the arts, crafts and history of the Edo period. Exhibitions, events and workshops will be held at a variety of locations around Tokyo, including venues in Chuo-ku, Chiyoda-ku, Minato-ku, and Sumida-ku.





The 5th Anniversary Edo Art Expo: An Evening of Traditional Arts

About:
An Evening of Traditional Arts is an unique opportunity to learn more about traditional Japanese culture.
Exhibition 1: Classical Performing Arts, from 18:00 Performances of a variety of traditional arts, including traditional japanese dance and koto music, with explanatory introduction.
Exhibition 2: Edo-no-Hana Kimono Display, from 19:00 We will have models selected by the general public including non Japanese nationals who lives in Japan to help recreate a scene from famed ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Hiroshige’s much admired One Hundred Views of Edo series. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience Edo culture first-hand.
